I Actually have a lovely Joaquin Phoenix story which is quite nice...and hasn't really stabilised yet. here goes:
There's a gal who's River's girl but he doesn't know what a great gal she really is so he kinda goes back and forth with her, Martha and Samantha. So, she wasn't there when he dies or anything. They met on a movie set (which one? dunno.) where she was the animal trainer. Unbeknownst to her (but River kinda knows) Joaquin is in love with her but he won't do anything cuz of course, she's Rio's gal. So River dies and time passes. Finally (she's been living in Singapore all this while..trying to get away from the memories) she has to go for a celebrity party in the US (some animal trainer thing i guess) and she bumps into KR. She's been avoiding all the gang except Johnny Depp cuz she was friends with him before he was friends with Rio so he doesn't really remind her of him in that way. So KR asks if he can break her rules and she replies that he already is (by talking to her). She tries to walk away but he stops her and says "We need to talk..." and she replies " I have nothing to say to you." and tries to walk off again. He finally asks her to just hear him out over a quiet, secret dinner and she doesn't give him a definite answer. Johnny then finds her and urges her to go for the dinner. At dinner, KR tells her that he's meeting her for Joaquin's sake: he's convinced that she blames him for his brother's death and that's the reason she's not talking to him. She finally realises that she's been a selfish, inconsiderate mourner and calls up Joaquin and arranges to meet him. She appologises (to his shock) and tells him that in no way does she blame him.
He walks her back to her hotel room and they talk some more. She realises by this time that he's in love with her but she barely knows him. He's on his way out when he turns and makes a proposition.. he asks her to pretend that he's River for just one night. Then he can also pretend he's River and they can both get what they want. She tells him that no matter how much he thinks he needs this..she needs it even more. So they make love and when they finish, he gets up to leave and she asks him to stay. in the morning, before he leaves she comments: "I really wish you'd quit smoking" and he resolves to do that before he sees her again.

ok, just thought, what would happen if all the criminals on death row or in prison for life were shipped to a different world, inhabited only be themselves and ruled by the person who brought them there...interesting to think how they'd act, when they had to truely be responsible for their actions. oh my word. Did i forget the AURON story??? I get to look really cool in that one. yup.
UPDATE: I'm trying to fill in all the blanks I left before so here goes. 5 part story *wink*
UPDATE 2: Found a few discrepancies with the story here and with my ideas so I've thought up a very nice way to fix it. Gonna be kinda messy to add it in tho.
PART ONE
So, while Auron is here being used by Kinoc, a waitress gal with medical skills has been secretly in love with him since the moment she spotted him at the cafeteria. So Kinoc notices and starts to use her as well...after he realises that he can't get submission from her in terms of her body, he forces her to watch what he does to Auron and then forces her to 'tend' to him so that he doesn't stay that badly damaged. But he doesn't allow prolonged interaction by slapping her and telling her to leave Auron before the bruise starts to show. So the above story is the turning point. While tending to his wounds (applying salve to a very sensitive region I might add..) she tells him that he's not the only one bound to Kinoc (but says no more) and explains that anyone can satisfy him..even her, he really doesn't need Kinoc. She urges him to take up her offer next time Kinoc 'requests' his presence. He does so and she let's him abuse her all he wants. The next time however, she ties him to the bed and tells him she will show him what it means to love..and proceeds to do so, changing his view of sex and need. He can now stand up to Kinoc and she is no longer bound to him in her fear of what he might do to her love.
Eventually, when Kinoc gives Auron the choice to come back to him, marry the high priest's daughter or leave the warrior monks, he chooses to leave, thinking his reason to be the fact that he is gay. He says his farewells to her and they part. She's shocked that he refused the hand of the high priest's daughter however but doen't want to impose on his life. In the manner of true love, she lets him go. Kinoc however gets mega pissed at her and blames her for everything. He has her flogged and thrown into someplace in the Via Infinito/Purifico catacombs and she bumps into an Al Bhed gal there too who's been thrown in as punishment (for getting caught of course). They end up in Traverse town and want to get back to Spira. Unfortunately, the way back only opens once a year so they have to stay. While there they meet up with an army who're trying to keep the people fo the different worlds safe from the heartless and they are trained up A LOT and they help out with the fighting. Eventually, they say their goodbyes to new friends and leave. She gets a job at one of Rin's travel agencies after that, even though it's an Al Bhed only job because of her friendship.
PART TWO
cut to where he's already with Braska and Jecht and the fact hits him hard: he didn't refuse the arranged marriage because he was gay, he refused it because he loved the girl he would never see again. He laments to his companions. unbeknownst to him, she's no longer anywhere near the warrior monks. While staying at the aforementioned travel agency, Jecht spots her and immediately realises that this is the girl Auron left behind. He violently (Jecht style baby) drags her into the room shared by the 3 companions and throws her unceremoniously on the bed, leaves and shuts the door. She's frightened and confused. Meanwhile he finds Auron and Braska and manages to forcibly get Auron into the room (promising Braska he'll explain later) and she falls into his arms as she's trying to escape when the door is opened. The door once again shuts and the two of them untangle and try to figure out what is going on.
so they explain what's been happening all their lives (with a nosey Jecht and Braska watching for a while at first), she tells him that Kinoc was using her love for Auron to keep her prisoner to him. He's shocked..not believing that she actually loved him all this while. So they decide to go get married NOW and he grabs her hand and asks permission of her boss to marry her while she's on duty...haha. They do so and return, Auron slightly dreading the confrontation with Braska but willing to stand by his decision, to an empty room. A note from Braska and Jecht informs Auron that he has their blessings and they could take this room while they have a 3 day break from their pilgrimage. A nice message to her in there as well. Braska and Jecht go off for Jecht to explore the wonders of Spira. So after the 3 day honeymoon, they all see each other, Auron tells Braska that the vow he swore holds till the defeat of sin and she informs him that not only does she support Auron's decision, she wouldn't have loved him so much if he was the type to break his word. Furthermore, she would follow along and offer her services as a healer to the 3. So they continue on their journey, the 4 of them. She keeps well out of everyone's way (thus her absense from the Jecht spheres). Auron makes her leave him at the entrance to Zanarkand temple but she leaves a sphere of her own for him (as well as several useful healing and stealth items) becuz she has a premonition of what's to come. The events happen just like in the game, while she goes back to work for the travel agency for a while, but she can't shake the anguish. She goes back to places best left unmentioned to find her lover. When she gives up and returns, she finds a home on the isle of Kilika, working as a scientist and healer.
the 10 years pass.
PART THREE
Between tossing Tidus to Spira and arriving at the stadium in Luca, Auron tracks her down on the island of Kilika and walks in her door. She's shocked at his appearance and all she wants is to just be together again. She's missed him so much, she brings him to a small coastal island (possibly where the youth league base would be set up in future?) where they can talk without disruption. While explaining all that happened and how he had to honor Braska's last request and her declaring her undying love for him, despite him being dead (and she'd continue to give him all the support he needed for as long as he was on Spira). While they're there, Sin hits Kilika and she offers what aid to the townsfolk she can. Auron leaves again, later to appear in Luca to meet the summoner and her guardians. When Tidus and co arrive in Kilika, they meet her and she's invited (by Lulu) to tag along (as it were) and help them and others along the way..maybe even to teach Yuna some of the harder white mage skills. Not as a permanent companion but since she told them she wanted to travel and help Spira, might as well travel together. So, once again reunited in Luca (you know, that part where he's coming up the stadium stairs, right before his coolness scene? You can't see the staircase behind him..that's where she is. She asks his permission before coming along and since he can't really say no cuz she knows how to take care of herself and she's been through it all, just like him.) So she comes and goes as she pleases really..mostly keeping in contact with the party. She's there when they meet Rikku and she helps to hide the Al Bhed outfit discarded by the kid. She leaves them then and meets up again with Auron when the rest (minus Rikku) are in the farplane...she's very covered up tho..heavy cloak and whatnot. Some interesting conversation here btw. We find out that she was actually there with Rikku and Tidus when he first arrived - watching over him. Then she leaves again after discussing Seymour's proposal to Yuna and other stuff. The next time he sees her is when the group arrives in Macalania travel agency and him and Rikku go for a (often misinterpreted) walk (which is in FANFIC and not in the game). They meet up with her and weather a snowstorm at a place she knew of. She changed her look completely..getting serious about the business i guess, and giving up some color in order to get certain info..this is where Yuna's floral fallal costume comes from - that's her new look. WHITE. So the three go back (she tells Auron all about Seymour wanting to become Sin and all that..she's a clever gal with connections [angst]) and the journey continues...when they run away from the guado in the temple, she get's fed up and once Yuna is safe and sound outside, she whirls around and faces the guado. Auron sees everyone safely outside and returns to fight by her side..they totally kick guado butt and ensure a guado-free escape for the rest. whee. Right, things continue and eventually he once again asks he to leave at the Zanarkand temple. At this point, only Rikku has guessed at their relationship, but she keeps her own council. She's the one who get's Cid and his airship to get the rest. Of course, he won't let her follow into sin either.
After it all, the poor woman goes back to Kilika to try and immerse herself in nature..but she cant stand it for very long and goes back to the underworld where she feels she has some purpose. She rejoins the army for a time and helps them achieve a new peace. After that she returns to Kilika yet again.
PART FOUR
Thus begins the story from FFX-2. The three gals meet up with our heroin after a while and she joins them some time before the end of their journey - the fight with Vegnagun in the farplane. When it's all over, the Gullwings, the Leblanc gang, the 3 saving characters of the game (guys..i mean guys.) and the gal are actually stuck in the farplane. They have to go further in to get out, cuz our gal knows these kinda places. They also have to wait till 'the gate' opens and they can return to Spira. Meanwhile, guess who gets to pay them a visit? whee..the voices heard encouraging them! Yuna finally gets to see her father, Jecht and her guardian again. so sweet! And of course, our couple is briefly reunited..one week. Paine snoops about and assumes that it's actually Jecht who's in love with Auron's gal cuz he keeps trying to teach her how to play Blitzball (she swims well, but she just can't manage Blitzball) but Rikku sets her straight..and everyone finds out. Yuna isn't too shocked since she's kinda sensed something of the kind. They part again..for what should have been the last time. but...
PART FIVE
Something (which I havn't really worked out yet) happened in the farplane..something to do with Kingdom Hearts II and which I shall decide after I play that. It has to do with Auron getting out of the Farplane but only if someone brings him out (Hades tries to use him...lol...talk about stupid thing of the century award.) and the two of them get to live together happily ever after in another world - devoted to each other and no more promises to keep except the one that goes "to have and to hold...". awwww.
Basically, she returns once again to the army, she's one of the few original fighters to still be hanging out there and so she's in charge. Her second-in-charge falls in love with her but she tells him she's not over Auron. He decides to go bring her husband back to her and he does. yay.
SIDE NOTE: I will probably add some angst where she sleeps with Seymour. Sorry about that but the story needs the angst and she had to get that info from him (where she sacrifices her color). Also, Auron needs a bit of a wake-up call about leaving her. No one ASKED him to go and die. Later on they meet up with some old friends.

fan girl time! ok, this is gonna be dedicated to that really hot guy at the suntec dance 2004...gosh, i don't even remember his group's name..will probably never see him again, so a fangirl story of what I wished happened last night. in the making. been a while since i visited this blog.
